You know who's probably really happy about John and Olivia having a baby?

Mulaney was sober from 2005 to 2020. He has 15 years of recovery under his belt. Relapse happens but you don’t lose that clean time experience you had. Everyone’s recovery looks different and as a recovering addict I am proud he got up and talked even laughed about it because you have to! It helps remind you how it was and where you are now and where you are going! Well done John!

Seth treating John similar to how my friends and family have treated me and still treat me during my recovery. With love and respect and empathy. It's enough to make me cry.

I've watched this three times now, trying to get a read on John, and I can't pretend to understand how cocaine habits work, but my god is Seth a good friend and the only host who could've had an interview with John right now.

"Olivia and this baby have saved me from myself" is arguably the scariest thing a recovering addict could say. That is a humongous red flag and I pray this does not end up the way many people fear it might.

I know he's a comedian and he makes jokes out of dark life situations but I cant Imagine how hard this was for him to tell the world what was truly going on in his life behind the scenes. Im really hoping for positive things for his life, I hope were all wrong and that this relationship and baby do help him stay sober. That being said I also cant imagine annas pain, and I hope she is doing well also.

God bless the producer who decided to make all this one video instead of three separate videos

I love how real this is. Instead of it being "fine" he actually is talking about real-life problems and real-life events. You can tell that he's being vulnerable. I wish him and his family all the best, and good on you Seth Meyers for helping a friend!

Something about him suddenly deciding to get a haircut is painfully sad after remembering that his ex wife used to cut his hair. I wish both of them nothing but the best.

This man had 5 years of emotions shoved into like 11 months. Probably the most eventful 2020-21 I've heard so far...praying for all parties. This was a lot.

He’s lucky he has friends like Seth who love him and had an intervention to help him.

Seth is probably one of the only late-night hosts I genuinely like and respect. You can really tell in this interview that they're good friends and really care about each other, and I wish John nothing but the best.

Gotta say, Seth is the only late night host who can handle this tone well. Seriously glad to see this kind of content

When Seth put his hand over John’s when he said he’s now grateful for them saving his life, that was so sweet. ❤️ I hope hope he’ll be okay and stuck in this recovery, he’s having an awful lot happen while just beginning this path, and that’s going to complicate it a lot, and I hope he’ll get through this; all the love. 🙏🏼💕

John is so himself when he’s around Seth, and especially in this clip. They are true friends.

Kudos to John for doing this interview, he didn't have to and I hope he didn't feel pressured into it, but I think it could be really helpful for people to better understand and sympathize with people who struggle with addiction. I'm glad Seth is such a good friend for John and I hope things keep getting better for him.

All the people who are trying to analyze this are ignoring that Seth Meyers is one of his best friends, and he'd make sure he's okay after this I'm sure.

I was a case manager for a women’s rehabilitation center, and this interview strikes me as incredibly sad. After working there for so long and hearing how the women try to “make light” of what is going on, he is going to relapse and it is going to be something much more intense than what he is use to. To anyone reading, I assure you I am not trying to put anything on him or will this to happen. It is just the sad truth with addiction, and any other mental health professionals in the comments I’m sure you all can pick up on the red flags he’s displaying also. He is not giving himself time to learn and react to his current life stressors, and on top of that adding some of the biggest stressors all of us have (i.e. children and relationships). We would always advise our clients not to take part in relationships for at least a year, and if married live in sober living so you can sort out any thoughts you have on the marriage and what you’d like to do better for yourself and your partner in the future.

Love seeing friends, especially men, saying "I love you" without a hint of mockery or humor, just genuinely and openly caring for one another. The world needs more love.

I absolutely love how open John is with his recovery. We need so much more of this. Normalize recovery. Normalize vulnerability. Love you John.
